Just wanted to take a few moments to update everyone on what is happening in our lives so maybe our reader will understand why we haven’t updated in a few days (months).

I (J Felt) got married, went to Jamaica.
JRitchie got married, went to the beach and then back to Canada.
NLP got locked in his lab and didn’t get out until yesterday, is also rumored to be involved with the disappearance of some young ladies.
D-Fo got a new job and introduced me to the world of Bowman Gray racing.
HP continued to be HP, but he forgot how to use computers.

So there you have it.

We’ll be back with the required preseason reading soon.

“I’m thankful for my friends and [...]]]> Most of all have gone all Shamari Spears on our Thanksgiving turkey by now, and the rest of us are looking to clean up the left overs in true Curtis Withers fashion, but it’s never too late for us here at Green Tinted Glasses to give thanks.

“I’m thankful for my friends and family, as well as my 49er Family.  I’m thankful for a team that really seems to care about where they’re headed this season.  I’m thankful for Shamari Spears’ hands and Bobby Lutz’ mustache.  Moreover, I’m thankful that I’m never going to be obligated to wear Carolina Blue to any sporting event.  In a nutshell, I’m thankful to be a member of NINER NATION.”

I’m thankful for Bobby Lutz’s mustache, it gives me a glimmer of hope in the vast maw of a meaningless universe, expanding outwards in three dimensions towards contraction and eventual heat death after a few billion years.

I’m thankful for an (almost) completely healthy team, a 4-1 start, our 27-10 record against the Lake Norman Mildcats, and to be a student at the best school in the state of North Carolina.

I’m thankful for having not one, but TWO, post-players with offensive skills, a fiancee who hates Chapel Hill as much as I do, the great (not always) memories of Niner basketball in the past, Plavich’s half-court shot against Indiana, Eddie’s teabagging of some Houston player, the return of Bobby’s mustache, and of course, Niner Nation existing and allowing me to be a part of it!

I’m thankful for Lee Gold who made those years bearable and was an awesome player to be a fan of
I’m thankful for having graduated from the best school in the state of North Carolina
I’m thankful for us getting more HS kids and less Jucos
I’m thankful for this year’s awesome schedule
I’m thankful for the return of the ‘stache
So nice it needs to be said twice, I’m thankful for being 4-1! Bring it, ECU!! GO NINERS!!
