What is GreenTintedGlasses.net?

A blog for Charlotte 49ers fans, made by Charlotte 49ers fans.

Why?

We started GTG because there was a void that needed to be filled. While there are already great 49ers blogs, those are either affiliated with the school or the local regional newspaper. Every major college program needs a blog written by those who say what they want to say and don’t need to follow any rules.

Actually, we just want to feel important and feed our egos.

But why Green Tinted Glasses?

Because that’s how some of us prefer to see the world. When you’re a Niner, everything looks better in green. It could also be a reflection on our fan base that refuses to take off the Green Tinted Glasses and see our program for what it is.

We are fans on the sidelines just like you. We may try and get some insider information from time to time, but for the most part we know about as much as you, the Average Fan. If you enjoy reading, thanks, stick around for awhile and enjoy yourself.
